Severed Finger Cookies are a Real Delight! Our theme food for the evening borders on the vilest and most horrid.
Meeting went till almost 11:30! We talked and talked about the book. I swear, the book of all things.....It was truly thought provoking, hit us right in the senses from beginning to end. Although I can't say any of us 'enjoyed' the book, we still couldn't stop reading it. We kept hoping and hoping. We loved the writing style, the poetry of it all; the visuals,the cold, the hunger and the questions raised.
What did happen before this story started and what happened after it ended? Who was good, who was bad? Was there hope or is there only desolation?
