Clean out your Closets: Regift To Our Local Kids Living in Poverty

'Recycle.  ReGift.'
Recently I attended the Bioneers by the Bay Conference just 15 miles from our home.  While there, I had the opportunity to meet with many groups that are dedicated to helping and improving lives around the world.  One group in particular brought the crisis of childhod poverty to a much more local level.  Their program, working with the youth in the coastal area of New England,,was both creative and inspiring. Please consider their easy call to action.  Unload your closets, get rid of your excess and do a good deed!  The program, called 'Gifts to Give' is simple and to the point.  Feel better about yourself and the world we live in by contributing to this event.
Clean out your closets!

In order for us to help thousands of local kids living in poverty, we need the stuff that more fortunate kids no longer need, wear or use: CLOTHES, BOOKS, COATS, TOYS, CRIBS, STROLLERS and any other kids' things you can imagine.

We're also recruiting a few special students to work with us, organizing collection drives.

If you know of a student that would benefit from this experience, please have them contact us.

We're also in need of adults to work a morning shift (3-hours) at the mill, while the kids are in school.
We're open Monday-Friday 9-5, Saturday 10-4

In this time of great hope we have a unique opportunity to come together.
What better way to start kids on a pathway of giving and service than to facilitate their understanding of what they can do to really help other kids who have so much less?

We can't help kids like their vegetables .. but we can help them to work for social justice and in their "doing" experience the power of GIVING!
