TINKER Lab Glue Gun Optional

An Oasis of Kid-Friendly Creativity in any Space and Place

A costume designer, arts educator from Harvard has two curious children.  How does she harness their energy away from the internet and towards fun hands open-ended discoveries and creations?

Rachelle Doorley has inspired a world of ‘let’s try’ and ‘what-ifs’ with a delightful new hands-on guide  called The Tinker Lab for LIttle Inventors.  And you don’t have to be so little to enjoy some of the wondrous activities she plans and enjoys.

They are  ‘playful experiments that encourage tinkering, curiosity and creative thinking.’
From deisign to concocting and discovery, habits and tools are clearly discussed and implemented in her process.  Some projects are just for kids, while others may take an adult or two to get underway or supervise. But the quest for discovery and exploration is well organized and easy to follow.

Praise For TinkerLab: A Hands-on Guide for Little Innovator
“I highly recommend Tinkerlab to any parent with young children! I read the book in one sitting (it was that well written) but know I will be referring back to it for years as I encourage my own daughters’ tinkering, experimenting, and creative development.”—Jean V’ant Hul, author of The Artful Parent
